When are you accepting new firms?

Non-founding firms can begin migrating to ModernPM starting August 1, 2025.

What is the smallest firm you will work with?

While we would love to serve every firm, ModernPM is specifically designed for larger firms with complex operational needs. At this time, the minimum firm size we work with is 50 employees.

What does the onboarding process look like?

Our ideal onboarding timeline is 12 weeks, but we understand that real-world factors may require flexibility. We emphasize extensive testing before the official “go-live” to ensure a smooth transition and confidence in the system.

Do you offer on-site training?

Yes, we offer on-site training tailored to your firm’s specific needs. However, we strongly recommend leveraging remote and on-demand training to accommodate multiple offices, time zones, and remote employees.

Do you charge upfront fees?

Upfront fees depend on the complexity of integrations and training preferences. We believe in keeping fees modest while ensuring flexibility to accommodate various operational needs. While we do not support custom software modifications (as they impact scalability and supportability), our system is highly configurable to suit different firm processes.

What security measures do you use?

Security is a top priority. We follow industry best practices, including:

  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) via Office 365 or Google
  • Hardened infrastructure and application security
  • Compliance with best-practice security standards
  • Open conversation for firms seeking additional security details (as we do not publicly share system configurations)
What are your contract terms and lengths?

We believe in clear agreements that provide mutual assurances without unnecessary long-term commitments. Our contracts are auto-renewing six-month agreements with a 90-day termination notice.

  • Year 1 SaaS fees are paid upfront.
  • From Year 2 onward, firms pay in six-month increments.
  • Every six months, we reconcile user counts and fees, but we do not charge for modest user growth within that timeframe.
Will I have access to my data?

ModernPM provides open APIs and data pipeline access, allowing firms to automate processes and generate custom reports as needed.
